REF : ASSAULT INCIDENT AT TEEGA SUITES FOYER (next to roundabout)

At approximately 9.24am on 13th March 2023, two cars arrived at the foyer of Teega Suites and came to a stationery stop at two locations. Several minutes later, a pick-up truck driven by a resident of Teega Suites exited the car park. The two cars then proceeded to ambush the pick-up truck by blocking its path from the front and back. Three masked men, armed with machetes and an axe then exited both vehicles and proceeded to attack the pick-up truck and the driver. There were no other passengers in the pick-up truck. The victim attempted to ram his pick-up truck past the front car and drove several metres before colliding into a concrete block. The assailants carried out with their attack for awhile before fleeing the scene in both cars.

The police were alerted at the on-set of the attack, and the Management staff arranged for the victim to be sent to Gleneagles Medini Hospital.

Both The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) and the UEMS Auxiliary Police responded to the scene.  Subsequently  PDRM investigators also arrived at Teega Suites.

The Managememt staff have lodged a police report.

From preliminary findings, this appears to be a planned pre-meditated assault.

As this is an on-going police case, we are not at liberty to divulge further details.

We would like to advise all residents and parcel owners to remain calm.
