REF : ASSAULT INCIDENT AT TEEGA SUITES FOYER (next to roundabout) UPDATE
We refer to the earlier notice on the “Assault Incident at Teega Suites Foyer” posted on 13th March 2023.
We wish to inform that the Royal Malaysian Police Force (PDRM) has captured two suspects relating to the incident. One of the suspects was arrested in less than an hour after the incident and the other within the same day. The PDRM is looking to make further arrests.
The arrest was made possible due to the quick response time from our Security and our Management staff by reporting directly to the police at the start of the incident. We were also able to share CCTV footage and the vehicle licence plate numbers with PDRM.
During the the incident , our Security were advised to secure the main entrance and lobby, to prevent the assailants from making any attempt to enter the building and pose any threat to the residents / general public.
Upon receiving our call, PDRM immediately despatched their MPV team closest to Puteri Harbour to respond to the scene.
The quick action by PDRM and the swift arrests made are commendable and reassuring.
At the same time, the Management team & JMC members shall review the current security protocols and implement additional security measures as needed .
Again, we would like to advise all residents and parcel owners to remain calm.
