REF : ELECTRICITY DISRUPTION FOR COMMON AREAS AT TEEGA SUITES ON 25-03-2023
Refer to the matter above, there was a power supply disruption on 25th March 2023 from 9pm to 11pm, impacting the essential common electricity supply at Teega Suites.
Areas affected were the Ground Floor Lobby, ED Deck Lobby, Level 27 Skydeck/Function Room and all the elevators.
There was an incident of mantrap (1 adult resident) and was released by OTIS staff.
The root cause of the power trip was due to the defective Earth Fault Relay (EFR) monitoring the main supply to the Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) – 1200A.
After isolating the defective EFR, the ACB could not be energized due to the issue with the pumping mechanism.
Hence, our chargeman was triggered to be on-site for reparing and servicing the pumping mechanism for the ACB.
For your information, both our incoming TNB supply and Generator set are using the same ACB for supplying the outgoing power to the common area.
Again, we would like to apologize for the unexpected power supply disruption and the delay for energizing back the power supply.
