NOTICE OF THE MAJESTIC JOHOR FESTIVAL 2024 (28th August to 1st September 2024)
Refer to the above, pleased to inform that The Majestic Johor Festival 2024 is back this year from
28th August to 1st September 2024 at Puteri Harbour, Iskandar Puteri.
Kindly refer to attached Appendix 1 for more information from UEM Sunrise regarding the traffic flow.
“Dear Valued Residents,
We are pleased to inform you that the annual Majestic Johor Festival is back this year, scheduled to take place from 28 August to 1 September 2024 at Puteri Harbour, Iskandar Puteri. Organized by Tourism Johor, this festival is a significant initiative by the Johor government to enhance and promote local tourism, arts, and culture.
The festival will feature several key attractions, including an exclusive exhibition of Royal classic cars and the Johor Majestic Parade, which will showcase a variety of cultural performances, traditional Johor music, and live band performances. There will also be a fireworks display and a concert on 30 August 2024 in conjunction with the National Day celebration.
As the organizer anticipates a large turnout for the festival, we kindly advise you to expect heavy traffic in Puteri Harbour during the event period. Please be aware of road closures on Persiaran Dato’ Seri Amar and Persiaran Puteri Selatan on Sunday,1 September 2024 (for rehearsal and MJF 2024 Parade from 3:00 pm to 12:00 am). The organizer is collaborating closely with local authorities to manage traffic flow for the convenience of the community. To help reduce traffic within Puteri Harbour, free shuttle bus services will be available for visitors travelling directly to the festival site from the main designated parking areas in Kota Iskandar.
