REF: UPDATE ON STRATA TITLE ISSUANCE – FOLLOW-UP WITH UEM SUNRISE BERHAD (UEMS)
Refer to above, please be informed that our Chairman, Mr. Bill Chang, has formally followed up with UEM Sunrise Berhad (UEMS) regarding the delay in the issuance of Strata Titles for Teega Development.
In his recent correspondence dated 23 October 2025, Mr. Bill Chang highlighted the urgency of this matter, particularly in view of the potential increase in stamp duty under Malaysia’s Budget 2026, which may have a significant financial impact on owners if the transfer of titles is not completed in time.
UEM Sunrise Berhad has responded with the following progress updates:
1. The Strata Titles for Teega have been registered by PTG Johor Bahru (PTGJB) and collected by the appointed Strata Surveyor on 2 October 2025.
2. The Strata Surveyor is currently conducting a review and verification exercise to ensure that all parcel details are accurate and consistent with the approved strata plan.
3. Upon completion of this verification, the Developer (UEMS) will carry out a final review and subsequently notify the appointed solicitors to commence the transfer of ownership process.
Under the leadership of the Chairman, we will continue to engage actively with UEMS to ensure that this process is expedited and completed at the earliest possible time.
